GUVI’s YouTube Tricks

1 ) How to download audio of YouTube Video:

Replace “youtube” with “listentoyoutube” in the URL to download the audio of the video.

Example :

Youtube url : www.youtube.com/watch?v=meVfCx14-G4

To Download Audio of above mentioned video :

www.listentoyoutube.com/watch?v=meVfCx14-G4

 2 ) How to Download YouTube Video:

Replace “youtube” with “ssyoutube” in the URL to download the video in any quality available.

Example :

Youtube url : www.youtube.com/watch?v=meVfCx14-G4

Download Youtube Video : www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=meVfCx14-G4

3 ) How to Play YouTube Video Repeatedly:

Replace “youtube” with “listenonrepeat” in the URL to repeat the video automatically .

Example :

Youtube url : www.youtube.com/watch?v=meVfCx14-G4

Repeat the Youtube Video : www.listenonrepeat.com/watch?v=meVfCx14-G4

4 ) Skip Signin to confirm your age

To skip the You tube’s “Signin to confirm your age” message like on video

Example :

Just Change the URL from
www.youtube.com/watch?v=meVfCx14-G4
to
www.youtube.com/v/meVfCx14-G4

P.S : This trick works in Chrome , I’m not sure about other browsers

5 ) Navigate within YouTube Video:

Pressing keys 1 through 9 will seek the video to 10%, 20% and so on up to 90% of the playback duration.

If the video is of 10 minutes, pressing 2 will seek the video to 2 minutes. i.e., 20% of the total playback duration!!

Pressing ‘K‘ will pause the video, and ‘J‘ will seek the video to 10 seconds before, and ‘L‘ seeks 10 seconds further!!!
